Graveside services to honor the life of Mrs. Bowen will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Liberty Memorial Gardens. No formal visitation is planned. Her body will be available for viewing from 12:00 until 5:00 PM Friday at the Liberty Mortuary.
Zadie Goss Bowen, 93, of 1027 Southern Acres, formerly of Norris, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Anderson Area Medical Center. Born in Newry she was the widow of Clarence W. Bowen and a daughter of the late Clifton and Mamie Elrod Goss.
She retired from Norris Cotton Mill and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are four daughters, Patricia Howe of Anderson, Brenda Gail Becknell (Johnny Ray) of Liberty, Beth Whitfield of Anderson, and Angela Reynolds of Easley; a son, Charlie Bowen (Hazel) of Liberty; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
The family will be at the home. Liberty Mortuary is handling arrangements.
