Thinking of Every Detail

We consider it one of our great honors to serve the families of Upstate South Carolina during life’s most difficult moments. When a loved one dies, we prefer to think of it as a time for reflection, appreciation, and celebration of life. This is evident in everything we do — from the amenities we offer to the detailed planning and implementation of services. You can count on us every step of the way.

Speaking to Our Quality Service

Reid did a great job handling my husband’s wishes for his service. They have had many in our family and always did a wonderful job.

Brad Holtzclaw and his staff offer professional and personalized services at an affordable price! Just like his parents, Brad has a servant’s heart and truly cares about his community!

I've had to plan three separate funerals and the staff is absolutely top-notch. They help guide you through the process, they treat the family with extreme compassion, and they help in so many ways. They treated me like family.

A.L.

These folks feel your hurt and make your pain a much easier journey. Extremely professional, and exceptionally caring, each member of the staff is very accommodating. Liberty is very fortunate to have them in our town!

J.M.

The Holtzclaw family and Liberty Mortuary have always been kind to my family as we have lost loved ones. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a family-run service.

When it comes time to deal with the passing of a loved one, there’s not a greater group of people anywhere. My family really appreciates the kindness and love expressed by Brad Holtzclaw and his wonderful staff.

C.H.

The people go with them because they are so good and caring. They act like the person who died was in their family, and even after everything is done, they will help you. I thank God for their help with my son’s funeral. I would recommend them to anyone. God bless them!

D.B.

Brad, Reid, and the team went the extra mile for my family and me. Everyone was caring, patient, loving, and compassionate in my worst time as a parent. Reid worked extra hard with the circumstances with my son to complete my final wishes. I will always be grateful to Reid for all the work and time he put in. Thank you.

Liberty Mortuary & Cremation Services is an awesome group of people that have helped our family with our needs since the early 80's when they took over. They have always been so very compassionate, and their work is absolutely outstanding. I would truly recommend them to anyone needing their services if you want to be treated with respect and the best care possible in your time of sorrow. Thank you to everyone at Liberty Mortuary!

Today we said our final goodbyes (or as I like to say... our long “see you later”) to my grandfather. Brad and all the staff did an amazing job arranging a beautiful service to honor his memory and sacrifice to our country. They were amazing and caring throughout the entire process. Liberty Mortuary is highly recommended. Thank you to everyone there.

J.M.

Brad and the team were so very caring and helpful when my father passed. They helped my mom take care of every detail so that nothing was left out. I totally recommend their services for anyone who wants their loved one's passing to be handled with care. They treat you like family.

A.T.

This has been the most difficult time in my family’s life with the sudden tragic death of Billy Murphree. I can’t tell you how much the guys at Liberty Mortuary helped us get through this. Reid Bagwell was truly a lifesaver for me this week! You’ll never know just how much I appreciate all you did!

A.W.

They did a great job for my mother, Mildred E. Posey Greene. She looked beautiful, and the service they did was great. I loved everything and was well pleased.
