Friends and family are invited to attend the memorial service to honor Mr. Rowland’s life at 2:00 PM Friday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. No visitation is planned.
Willis S. Rowland, 78, of 124 Mauldin Road Apt. 1, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Anderson Area Medical Center. Born in Central he was a son of the late Miles and Lyda Rowland.
He was a United States Army veteran and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Herd Owens Rowland of the home; a son, Rodney Rowland of Central; a brother, Harold Rowland; two grandchildren, Amanda Godfrey and Rod Rowland.
