Willie Hickey Baines, 85, of 138 Rosemond Street, died Wednesday at Redeemer Health and Rehab in Pickens. Born in Morristown, TN, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Lola Addie Jenkins Hickey. She was retired from the SC Forestry Department where she was a tower operator at the Corbin Mountain Forest Fire Tower.
Surviving are a son, Tommy Hendrix of Lawton, OK; two sisters, Mary Hannah and Clara Snider, both of Pickens; two brothers, L.T. Hickey of Central and Edward Hickey of Greenville; twelve grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Dillard Hendrix; her second husband, James S. Baines; and a son, Calvin Hickey.
