Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Edens will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Liberty Mortuary. Burial will be at Liberty Memorial Gardens.
William Thomas “Dub” Edens, 84, of 189 Houston Mountain Road, died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at The Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca. Born in Liberty, he was the widower of the late Clara Jane Henry Edens and the son of the late Herbert and Addie L. Merck Edens. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Laffey and was a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Sharon Houston (Robert) of Pickens and Kristie Nix (Daniel) of Easley; 3 grandchildren, Kylie Voiselle (Lee), Eden Nix and Devin Nix; and a great grandson, Lyric Voiselle.
