William Thomas “Dub” Edens, 84, of 189 Houston Mountain Road, died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at The Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca. Born in Liberty, he was the widower of the late Clara Jane Henry Edens and the son of the late Herbert and Addie L. Merck Edens. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Laffey and was a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Sharon Houston (Robert) of Pickens and Kristie Nix (Daniel) of Easley; 3 grandchildren, Kylie Voiselle (Lee), Eden Nix and Devin Nix; and a great grandson, Lyric Voiselle.
The family will be at the home of his daughter, Kristie Nix at 1565 Pelzer Hwy. Easley, SC 29642. Memorial messages may be sent to the family by visiting www.libertymortuary.com Liberty Mortuary is handling arrangements.
