Wanda Christine Kelley Rutz, 78, of 210 Richwood Drive died Tuesday evening at Baptist Easley Hospital. Born in Mounds, Illinois, she was the widow of the late Earl L. Rutz, Jr. and a daughter of the late Eli Frankie and Florence Alfreda Rich Kelley. She was retired from Ryobi after 25 years. She loved doing word puzzles and bird watching and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Karen Granger(Kenneth) of the home; 2 sons, Don W. Rutz, Sr.(Sharon) and Ricky W. Rutz(LeeAnn) all of Easley; 3 sisters, Ruth Mosley(Roy) of Pickens, Violet Simmons(Junior) of Pickens and Lois Cedre(Frank) of Chicago, Ill.; a brother, Bob Jones of Mounds Ill.; a son in law, Bobby Granger of Easley; a sister in law, Helen Kelley of Arkansas; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Paula Lynn Granger; and a brother Johnny Kelley.
A visitation for Mrs. Rutz will be held Friday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Liberty Mortuary.
