Mrs. Varnell Hall Stewart, 84, of 190 Hospital Drive, died Monday, November 4, 2013 at Eckard Living Center. Born in Greenville she was the widow of Rev. Harvey Lee Stewart and a daughter of the late Mack C. and Eva Shirley Hall.
She retired from Jacobs-Chuck, and was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter in law, Sonjia Gibson and her husband Carson of Franklin; a granddaughter, Amanda Leigh Stewart of Franklin; a sister, Magalene McClellion of Simpsonville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a son, Jimmy L. Stewart.
