Timothy “Tim” Paul Mathis, 52, of 1082 Maw Bridge Road, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Cannon Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville he was a son of the late Sam Milton Mathis.
Surviving are his wife, Sherry Ford Mathis of the home; his mother, Frances M. Mathis of Liberty; two daughters, Alexis and Lacey Mathis both of the home; a son, William Devin Mathis of the home; a sister, Elaine Cole of Little River; a brother, Andy Mathis of Liberty.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Milton Mathis.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the home of his mother, Frances Mathis, 8 Nealy Street, Liberty SC. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Westview Cemetery in Liberty.
