A memorial service to honor the life of Mr. Cook will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 PM in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at Liberty Mortuary.
Thomas L. “Tom” Cook, 50, of 205 Sherry Lane, passed on to his heavenly home Friday, September 21, 2012. Born in Lucedale, Mississippi, he was the husband of Jill Barrett Cook of the home, and a son of the late Carlton R. Cook, Sr. and Constance Jean Smith Cook. He loved fishing, cooking, NASCAR, animals and University of Miami football and Liberty Red Devil football. He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to his wife are; his step mother, Jean S. Cook of Quincy, FL; a step daughter, Cady Joy Spencer of the home; a step son, Jeremy Ryan Spencer and his fiancé Nicole R. Shrum of Easley; 4 brothers, Carlton R. Cook, Jr. of West Palm Beach, FL, David A. Cook(Kimberlee) of Jupiter, FL, Theodore(Elda) Cook of Quincy, FL and Ronald Cook(Cynthia) of Las Vegas, NV; a grandchild Jordan Nickolas Shrum; an honorary daughter, Cindy Pittman; 3 honorary grandchildren, Cameron T. Pittman, Keely N. Pittman and Trenton C. Pittman; his father in law, Robert A Barrett of Miami, FL; 6 neices; and 1 nephew.
