Thelma Bryant Smith Jeffrey, 83, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016. Thelma was a native of Norris, South Carolina and a peninsula resident for 30 years. She attended Seaford Baptist Church and was a member of Smith Memorial Baptist Church. She was active with the women’s groups at the church and enjoyed knitting. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years David Jeffrey and her brothers, Austin and Jack Bryant and is survived by her daughter, Nancy S. Anderson (David) of Seaford; sons, Clyde Smith (Vickie) of Lugoff, SC., Larry Smith of Ruby, SC. and Rickey Smith (Anita) of Tulsa, OK; a sister-in-law Hazel Bryant of Liberty, SC. 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in Amory Funeral Home from 6:00 to 7:30. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 25, 2016 in West View Cemetery, Liberty, SC.
