Memorial services to honor Terry’s life will be 7:30 PM Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 until 7:15PM at the mortuary.
Terry E. Baker, husband of Lynn Richey Baker, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at his home. Born in Easley he was a lifelong resident of Pickens County. He graduated from Easley High School, Class of 1967, Greenville Technical College, and Southern Wesleyan University.
He retired from Michelin, Corporate Office where he worked in information services. He was also active with the City of Liberty and Pickens County Schools.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Jenna Baker Sturman (Nathan) of the home, and Britton Baker Lorenzen (Jon) of Lexington; a son, Justin Baker (Mary) of Columbia; a brother, Donnie Baker of Easley; three grandchildren, Richey and Peyton Baker, and William Lorenzen.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Lynda O’Donald, and a brother, David Baker.
The family would like to thank Homestead Hospice for their services and kindness.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Homestead Hospice, 109 Laurens Road, Greenville SC 29607, or Liberty High School, Library, 124 Red Devil Drive, Liberty SC 29657.
