Stanley Tony Chapman, 64, of 817 Rice’s Creek Road, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015 at the Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca.
Born in Six Mile he was a son of Willie Mae Willimon Chapman, and the late Luther Kirksey Chapman, Jr.. He retired from SYS Construction Company and during his free time loved horseback riding and hunting.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Six Mile are a son, Lee Chapman of Merritt Island, FL; a step son, Benji Pilgrim of Liberty; two sisters, Vicki C. O’Shields (Mike) of Seneca, and Marilyn C. Lewis (J.L.) of Pickens; a granddaughter, Gabriella Vernell Chapman, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services to honor Tony’s life will be 3:00 PM Friday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 PM at the mortuary. Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Liberty Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
In addition to his father he was predeceased by his wife, Lisa Jean Hawkins Chapman.
The family will be at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers memorials in Tony’s honor are requested to GHS Hospice of the Foothills Foundation, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca SC 29672.
