Shirley W. King, 71, of 130 Callahan Acres Road, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Baptist Easley Hospital. Born in Easley she was a daughter of the late Paul Jerome and Vera Gilstrap Welborn.
Mrs. King retired from West Point Stevens and was a member of East Side Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Thomas C. King of the home; a daughter, Deborah Hightower of Macon, GA; a sister, Frances Whitmire of Central; a granddaughter, Caron Farris of Warner Robins, GA; a great grandson, Trenton Farris.
