Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Duncan will be 1:00PM Friday, in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Reverend Dr. John Adams. Burial will be at Liberty Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Shirley Ann Bryant Duncan, 78, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014. Born in Liberty she was a daughter of the late Earnest and Theatta Bates Bryant.
Mrs. Duncan was a member of Easley First Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, gardening, and watching her grandchildren participate in sports. She had a special love for animals.
Shirley had a lifelong work ethic and retired as office manager for Piedmont Pad, Inc. Her volunteer services included “Pink Lady” duties at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Surviving are a daughter, Susan Hendrix (James), and one son, Barry Duncan (Rosemary); five grandchildren, Matthew (Melanie) and Justin Hendrix (Lani), Jorden White (Will), and Anna and Bryant Duncan, and two great-grandchildren, Chase and Calvin Hendrix; three sisters, Helen Mahaffey, Betty Davis (Wayne), and Carol Clardy (Wallace); a sister in law, Nathalee Bryant.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, and her high school sweetheart, Alfred Jorden Duncan. She was also predeceased by a brother, Eugene Bryant.

The family will be at the home of Barry and Rosemary Duncan, 102 McAlister Lake Court, Easley SC 29642.
