Sarah Mae Waldrop Hickey, 76, of 125 Clifford Drive, died Friday at Baptist Easley Hospital. Born in Pickens, she was the widow of the late Clifford Elmer Hickey and a daughter of the late Robert Leroy and Lillian Alene Brucke Waldrop. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Brenda Gail Rackley of Pickens, Sarah Louise Brower of Anderson, and Glory Faye Torres of Powdersville; 3 sons, Robert L. Hickey, Aaron Hickey and Dwight Hickey all of Pickens; a sister, Martha Genell Miller of Pickens; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by 2 sons, Clent and Terry Hickey; and 2 brothers, T.F. and Marshall Waldrop.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association: 4217 Park Place Court Glen Allen, VA 23060. The family will be at the home of Aaron Hickey at 152 Clifford Drive Pickens, SC 29671.
