Sarah Cook Johnston, 81, of 12 Mills Court, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Heritage Healthcare in Six Mile. Born in Central she was the widow of B.D. Johnston, Jr. and a daughter of the late John and Allene Clardy Cook. She retired from Sir Shirt Maker and was a member of First Baptist Church of Norris.
Surviving are two sons, Benny and Charles Johnston of Liberty; a sister, Johnnie Ebelein of Greenville; four grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Johnston, a sister, Mary Alice Cook, and a brother, Donald Cook.
The family will be at the home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Norris, Drawer E, Norris SC 29667.
