Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Ford will be held in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel, Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM conducted by Reverend Jeremy Merck and Dr. Royce Addis. Private burial will be at Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. Samuel Martin Ford, 74, of Iselin Street died Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Prisma Health-Baptist Easley. Born in Greenville, he was the widower of of Linda Clark Ford and a son of the late Samuel Martin Ford, Sr. and Ruby Watson Ford. He was a retired insurance salesman for Liberty Life Insurance Company. Sam was a Godly man who loved his Gamecocks and spending time with his family. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Norris.

 

Surviving are his sons, Marty Ford(Donna) of West Union and Clark Ford(Dede) of Liberty; a sister, Peggy Garner(Hugh) of Clemson; seven grandchildren, Cody Jackson(Hannah), Emily Ford, Morgan Pasut(Zico), Morgan Jackson, Parker Ford(Kodie), Erin Riddle(Justin) and Claire Ford(Clay); and two great grandchildren, Rylee and Ellyson.

 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Home With A Heart, 220 James Mattison Rd #4900, Liberty, SC 29657.
