Cryptside services to honor the life of Mrs. Hutton will be held at 9:00 AM Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Liberty Mortuary.
Rovern Kindle Hutton, 78, widow of William Edward Hutton, Sr. passed away peacefully Sunday, September 1, 2013 at The Cottingham House in Seneca, SC. Born in Natural Tunnel, VA, she was a daughter of the late Tom Henry and Lovely Barker Kindle. She graduated from Johnston Memorial Nursing School in 1955 and had worked as an RN at various places before settling in as a homemaker and taking care of her family. She enjoyed being a seamstress and was a member of the Pickens Quilt Guild. She was also a very active member of Camp Creek Baptist Church. Their mother succumbed to cancer after a well fought battle in which she displayed God’s gracious kindness throughout her suffering.
Surviving are two daughters, Esther Aiken(Ed) and Sarah Heichel(Lary) all of Pickens; three sons, Ed Hutton, Jr.(Diane) of Seneca, Tom Hutton(Teresa) of Easley and Jim Hutton(Susan) of Pickens; a sister, Joan Pierson of Virginia; and 20 grandchildren.
