Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Permenter will be 3:00 PM Monday at Golden Grove Wesleyan Church. Burial will be in the churchyard. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 until 5:00 PM at the Liberty Mortuary.
Roberta Ann Sullins Permenter, 69, of 138 Rosemond Street, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Redeemer Health & Rehab.
Born in Marion, North Carolina she was the widow of James Permenter and a daughter of the late William Andrew and Vera Duncan Sullins.
She retired from Security Finance and was of the Wesleyan Faith.
Surviving are two daughters, Kim Varner (James) of Pickens, and Lorraine Thompson of Lexington; three sons, Billy Cody (Wanda), and Ken Hall (Karla) all of Pickens, and Kyle Porter of Easley; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Hoover, Amanda Cody, Chris Varner, Kenley Hall, Kody Hall, and Nancy Byers; two great grandchildren, Colton Hoover and Kayde Cody.
