A memorial service for Mr. Hale will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Keowee Baptist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the sanctuary.

Richard Zane Hale, 51, of 810 Mt. Olivet Road was peacefully called home Friday, December 29, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Asheville, North Carolina, he was the husband of Denise Watson Hale of the home and a son of Charles G. and Gounana Wilson Hale of Six Mile. He was a hardworking, kind, humble man of faith who dearly loved his God, his wife and his family. He was also an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was a graduate of Tri-County Technical College and was employed with United Tool and Mold. He attended Keowee Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are two daughters, Lacey Hale Rogers(Zack) of Liberty and Paige Hale Cumbie(Matthew) of Seneca; two sons, Heath Hale (Brittany Conaway) of Six Mile and Joseph Hale(Stephanie) of Rock Hill; a brother, Randy Hale of Pickens and 5 grandchildren, Kayleigh Jo, Allie, Eli, Janey and Clay.

The family will be at the home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation: 30 East 33rd Street New York, NY 10016 or Shriners Hospitals for Children- Greenville: 950 W. Faris Road Greenville, SC 29605. Liberty Mortuary and Cremation Services are handling arrangements.
