Richard Jones “Rick” Porter, 49, of 207 Yvonne Drive, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at his residence. Born in Easley he was a son of the late Evelyn Jones Porter.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Easley, and during his free time he loved to use his artistic talents to make numerous things.
Surviving are his father, E. Larry Porter, Jr. of Pickens; a daughter, Rebecca Porter of Easley; a brother, Gary Porter and his wife Chris of Liberty; 3 grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will have a memorial gathering at the home of his father, 411 Allgood Bridge Road, Pickens from 1:00 until 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 12, 2013.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Seniors Unlimited of Pickens County, PO Box 1323, Pickens SC 29671.
