Rick “Wrong Way” Davis

A graveside service to honor the life of Rick “Wrong Way” Davis will be held at 1:00 P.M Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Liberty Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30 am until 12:45 PM at Liberty Mortuary.

Richard Allen “Wrong Way” Davis, 64, of Liberty Hwy. died Friday, September 17, 2021 at Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital. Born in Plant City, Florida, he was the husband of Kaye Edens Davis and a son of the late Richard Earl and Edna Mae Chapman Davis. He was a truck driver for Ray Walker Trucking Company. He loved fishing, making pies and pickles, telling stories and being with his family. He was of the Church of God faith.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Jennifer Roser(Andrew) of Richmond Hill Georgia and Tonya Vaughn(David) of Texas; three sons, Michael Blair(Lainie) of Powdersville, Chris Blair(Mandy) of Liberty and Joey Davis of Texas; a sister, Sherry Madray(Steve) of Greensboro, North Carolina; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Davis.
