Rev. Nicholas Wade Plumier, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on November 15, 2023, at the age of 55. Born February 19, 1968, in Greenville, SC, Nic was a son of the late Wayne and Shirley Durham Plumier.
He was a passionate preacher, dedicating over 25 years of his life to spreading the message of faith and hope. As the associate pastor of Bible Missionary Baptist Church, he touched the lives of countless individuals, offering spiritual guidance and support.
Apart from his ministry, he had a deep love for horses. Whether riding through scenic trails or simply caring for these majestic creatures, he found solace and joy in their presence. Woodworking was another passion that fueled his creativity. He had a knack for doing anything that included working with his hands.
Above all, he cherished his time with family. His greatest joy came from moments spent with his beloved wife Sandra, their son Jesse. Also surviving are two sisters, Sandra Patterson, and Denise Johnson, along with two brothers, David and Al Plumier.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant sons, Wade and Nathanael Plumier, along with his brother, Robert.
Nick will be dearly missed and forever remembered for his compassionate nature, infectious smile, and kind heart. In his journey through life, he touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A graveside service to honor his life will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 20, 2023 at Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. No formal visitation is planned.
During this time of sorrow, let us come together to celebrate the remarkable life of Rev. Nicholas Wade Plumier. May we find solace in the memories shared, knowing that he has found eternal peace.
