Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Holliday will be 2:00 PM Saturday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Bo Mackey. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at the mortuary.
Pheron Nations Holliday, 92, of 458 Camp Creek Road, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 5, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Six Mile she was the widow of Edward Holliday and a daughter of the late Thomas Horton and Minnie Duckworth Nations.
She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Camp Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are four daughters Emily Williams (Lee) of Pickens, Kathy Stone (Steve) of Six Mile, Debra Rampey of Buford, GA, and Cheryl Leviner (Mike) of Lamar; three sons, Tommy Holliday (Martha) of Six Mile, Tony Holliday (Judy)of Leicester, NC, and Norman Holliday (Carol) of Six Mile; 16 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, Boyce Holliday, and 3 grandchildren, Mark Holliday, Stephanie Rampey, and Boyce Rampey.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 900 E. Main Street, Easley SC 29640.
The family will be at the home of Norman & Carol Holliday, 603 Camp Creek Road, Central SC 29630.
