Paul Herman McClelland, 71, of 105 Sheila Drive, formerly of Hancock, New York and Norwich Connecticut, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Cannon Memorial Hospital in Pickens. Born in Clarion, Iowa, he was the husband of Judy Beardsley McClelland and a son of the late Casey and Leone Messer McClelland. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from which he retired and became a self employed truck driver. Following his second retirement he and his wife of 52 years traveled before settling down in Liberty. He was of the Presbyterian Faith.
Surviving in addition to his wife are 3 daughters, Deborah Seely and her husband Frank of Hancock, New York, Stacey Gray of Boston Massachusetts and Susan McCullough and her husband Mike of Baltic, Connecticut; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service with full military honors for Mr. McClelland will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 24, 2015 at Liberty Cremation Services.
The family will be at the residence. Liberty Mortuary and Cremation Services are handling arrangements.
