Myrtle Pace Anthony, 95, of Pickens, South Carolina, died Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Heartland Healthcare West in Greenville. Born in Antreville, she was the widow of Ernest C. “Buck” Anthony, Jr. and a daughter of the late Lucien and Lenora Arnold Pace. She was retired from Ryobi. She enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening and spending time with her family. She was the oldest living member of Griffin Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Debra Brezeale(Frank) of Pickens; a son, Curtis Anthony(Anita) of Pickens; a sister, Ruby Stancell of Greenville; 8 grandchildren, Kathy Covington, Karen Anthony, Chad Anthony, Greg Anthony, Jason Barton, Josh Barton, Clint Brezeale and Lora B. Gantt; 11 great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, Boyd Anthony; 5 sisters; 2 brothers; a grandson, Adam Brezeale; and a great-great grandson.

A private graveside service will be held at Griffin Baptist Church Cemetery.
