Sandra Holcombe

Sandra Atkinson Holcombe, 71, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026. Born on June 23, 1955, she was the daughter of the late William and Vivian Atkinson.

Sandra spent her early years in Greenville, South Carolina, where she graduated from Parker High School. She later made her home in Liberty, South Carolina, where she lovingly raised her two daughters, Amy Holcombe Moorrees and KC Holcombe.

Sandra found great fulfillment in serving others through her work at St. Luke’s Free Medical Clinic. She cherished her coworkers and valued the friendships she made there throughout the years.

She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved God with all her heart and gave him all praise for saving her. Sandra found healing and peace at the Oxford House in Greenville where she was a witness and mother to all she met.  Her beloved cats held a special place in her heart, she loved all music and sharing songs with others, she had a deep love for flowers, whose beauty brought her peace and joy. Those who knew Sandra will remember her for her caring spirit, bright smile, and the kindness she shared with those around her.

She is survived by her daughters, Amy Holcombe Moorrees (Jeremie Owens) and KC Holcombe; her cherished grandchildren, Dalton Moorrees and Skylyn Moorrees; her devoted partner, Tony Etheridge, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Funeral services to celebrate Sandra’s life will be conducted 6:00 PM Tuesday, August 4, 2026 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:30 until 5:30 PM at the mortuary. Following the service her wishes were to be cremated.

Though she is no longer with us, the love Sandra gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
