Mary Zorn

Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM Friday, June 11, 2021, in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Liberty Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the mortuary.

Mary Bryant Tate Zorn, 101, of 110 North Street, went to be with her Lord and Savior, June 8, 2021, at the home of her daughter in Norris.

Born May 12, 1920, in Six Mile she was a daughter of the late Chesley McDaniel and Cora Henderson Bryant.

Mrs. Zorn retired from Woodside Mills and later worked at Riverside Fashions and Seniors Unlimited cleaning offices. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Norris.

She was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was the youngest of 13 children and the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are a daughter, Ginger Haynes (Don) of Norris; a daughter in law, Jerry Tate of West Union; 5 grandchildren, Teri Bynum (Jimmy), Shana Hawk (Gentry), Angie Bryant (Cevin), Rev. Brad Haynes (Regina), and Missy Sammons (Ken); 15 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gamuel Tate, a granddaughter, Amanda Tate, and a grandson, Todd Haynes.

In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the First Baptist Church of Norris Building Fund, PO Box 130, Norris SC 29667.

The family will be at the home of Don and Ginger Haynes, 132 Golden Creek Road, Norris SC 29667.  Liberty Mortuary is handling arrangements.
