Celeste Standridge
Spartanburg, SC
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Celeste Nicole Standridge, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend.
She was born on November 7, 1988, in Greenville, South Carolina, and passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2024, at her residence in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
She was a woman who lived life through her lens, finding solace and joy in her passion for photography. From capturing nature’s beauty in sunsets and flowers, she had a unique talent for freezing moments in time. In her youth, she discovered a love for art and indulged her creative spirit by drawing intricate illustrations. She was also a social butterfly and made lasting impressions on all she came in contact with.
With a kind and compassionate heart, Celeste made lasting connections with fellow members of Narcotics Anonymous (NA). Through the support and friendships she found there, she embraced a journey of healing and personal growth. The bonds she formed within the NA community brought immense joy and strength to her life.
One of the greatest joys in Celeste’s life was her furry companion, Sweetie. The love and companionship they shared brought immeasurable comfort and warmth to her days. Sweetie will deeply miss their playful moments and the endless affection that Celeste showered upon her.
She is survived by her mother, Jennifer Standridge of Easley; her father, David Standridge (Cheryl) of Fountain Inn, a brother, Mitchell Robinson of Easley; also surviving are her grandmothers, Rebecca Wilson, Sybil Abercrombie, and Martha Graham.
In honor of Celeste’s life, the family will host a memorial service at a later date.
During this difficult time, we ask for your healing thoughts, and support for Celeste’s grieving family. Her memory will forever remain a guiding light for all those lucky enough to have known and loved her.
“If love alone could have saved you, you would have lived forever.”
