Tina Kokay

Six Mile, SC

Tina Renae Kokay, 52, of Six Mile, South Carolina, died Saturday, November 12, 2022 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Pickens, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Ransome Reed.

She was a 1988 graduate of D.W. Daniel High School and was employed with Sealed Air (formerly Cryovac) for 30 years.

Tina loved to read, bake for her friends at work, and sit on the beach.  Most of all she loved to spend time with her family.

Surviving is her husband, Gary Kokay of the home; her mother, Louise Black (Troy) of Central; 2 sons, Trent Kokay of York, and Garrett Kokay of Charleston; two sisters, Angela Eppes (Mike) of Townville, and Amanda Nichols (Shane) of Central; a brother, Tim Reed (Amber) of Six Mile; four nieces, Ashley Owens, Lindsey Owens, Shea Nichols, and Bristol Reed; three nephews, T.J. Reed, Peyton Reed, and Landon Eppes.

Memorial services to honor Tina’s life will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, November 18, 2022 at Gap Hill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Liberty Mortuary.
