Graveside services to honor the life of Mrs. Alexander will be held Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Liberty Memorial Gardens.
Peggy S. Alexander, 75, of Lakeview Drive, died Friday, September 23, 2022 at her residence. Born in Greenville, she was the widow of Carl Edward Alexander and a daughter of the late Cleo and Gertrude Dean Shepherd. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, crocheting and going fishing. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Trudie Britt of the home; three sons, Roy Hooper(Leticia) of Jacksonville, FL, George Hooper(Margie) of Liberty and Robert Hooper(Donna) also of Liberty; a step-son, Melvin Alexander(Nancy) of Easley; a sister, Joyce Holder of Easley; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Larry Shepherd and two step-daughters, Tandra Fortner and Crystal Miller.
