Martha Ann Goodin, born on January 17, 1943, in Clarksville, Arkansas, passed away on March 15, 2024, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
Martha was a loving and devoted homemaker who cherished spending time with her family.
Throughout her life, Martha found joy in going out to dance with her beloved husband, Roy Goodin, and sharing her passion for collecting recipes and cooking. Her warm smile and caring nature touched the lives of many, extending her love not only to her immediate family but also to her extended family and friends. She upheld her faith in the Catholic religion, finding solace and guidance through her beliefs.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Roy Goodin, and her son, Scott Goodin and his wife Amy of Six Mile. Also surviving are her siblings, Mary Stickley, Janie Dalhem, Pat Hilton, Tim Hilton, Denise Kimbrough, and Charlie Hilton, two grandchildren, Courtney Kaeser and Hettie Walters, and two great grandchildren, Reagin and Evelyn.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Othelia Eveld Hilton, and two brothers, Frank Hilton, Jr. and James “Jim” Hilton.
Their hearts are heavy with the loss of a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, but they find comfort in the memories of the moments shared with Martha.
Private services and burial will be at a later date in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Martha Ann Goodin will be fondly remembered for her kind spirit, her love of dancing, and for her little kitchen sign that reads “There will be no bitchin in this little kitchen.” May she rest in peace, forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
