To the Dover Family, Mrs. Dover was my 6th-grade teacher at East End Elementary. I will always remember her not only because she was a wonderful teacher, but also because she had a kind, empathic heart for those of us who may have forgotten our lunch or just had a bad start to our day. She would let us play chess before the bell or during recess. While I don't remember much about chess, I do remember her encouraging us to branch out and learn new things with our classmates. She made our 6th-grade class "community" before it was a buzzword. May you find comfort in the days ahead. Peace be with you all.

Mrs. Dover was one of the best math teachers I had in middle school. I didn’t realize it at the time, but she would one day become my mother-in-law, and Meme to my son, Caleb. Even though the relationship with her son didn’t work out, we all remained on friendly terms. She was still very nice to me when I would see her. I thank God that Caleb had a good Christian grandmother like her. She will be greatly missed. I pray that God will give the entire family the grace and strength to make it through this time of mourning. Wishing you peace and comfort during this difficult time. You have my heartfelt condolences. I’m here if any of you need anything at all.

Loretta was a friend of mine from Arial. We enjoyed many church outings together. I was honored to be her Sunday School teacher several years ago. She was a great influence on my life. I will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with Ken, her sons and extended family.
