Lola Roach

Lola Gunnells Roach, 85, of Lay Bridge Road, died Monday, April 17, 2023 at Oconee Memorial Hospital. Born in Central, she was the widow of Ralph James Roach and a daughter of the late Warren and Eva Bryant Gunnels. She was retired from Southern Wesleyan University where she worked in the cafeteria. She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are two daughters, Kala Riley of Williamston and Lisa Beeler of Greenville; two sons, James “Butch” Roach of the home and Mike “Mickey” Roach of Central; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Shirley; a brother, Furman Gunnells; and a grandchild, Tabitha Roach.
