Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Rollins will be held Friday, April 29, 2022 at 2:30 PM in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the mortuary.

JoAnn Wood Riggins Rollins, 70, of Andrew Road, died Tuesday, April 26, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Nokomis and Josie Gertrude Davis Wood. She was retired from the School District of Pickens County where she loved her Daniel Lions football. She was of the Baptist faith and loved reading her Bible. Most of all she loved spending time with her two granddaughters doing word searches, jigsaw puzzles and watching game shows on television.

Surviving are two daughters, Donna Riggins Young(Barry) and Tammy Riggins Evatt(Thomas) both of Six Mile; a sister, Betty Wood Smith of Norris; and two granddaughters, Hannah Davis and her fiancé, Ezequiel, and Emily Evatt.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald “Donnie” Riggins; her second husband, Gene M. Rollins; and two brothers, Larry and Wayne Wood
