Jarilyn Mae Lambert
Liberty, SC
It is with joyful hearts that we remember the vibrant life of Jarilyn Mae Schoolcraft Lambert, who rode off to the great beyond on October 12, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on January 16, 1948, in Springfield, MA, she was a daughter the late Robert Craft and the late Ida Demario and Frank Piccard. Jarilyn embraced life with a spirit of adventure that will be celebrated by all who knew her.
Jarilyn was more than just a dedicated bookkeeper; she was a passionate traveler and an adventurous motorcyclist who loved nothing more than hitting the open road. Her creative talents shone through her crafts, and her laughter filled the kitchen as she cooked and baked delicious treats for family and friends.
Above all, Jarilyn cherished her family. Her husband of 34 years, David M. Lambert, her sons, Joshua (Susan) and Jason Benford (Allison), and her beloved grandchildren, Kaden Benford, Ryan Pluid and Mateo Benford, as well as her great-grandchildren, Dean and Kolter Pluid, who all held a special place in her heart. She nurtured them with love, wisdom, and that unmistakable joy for life that we will all remember. She also leaves behind a loving sister, Carilyn O’Toole and a brother, Robert Schoolcraft. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit, and together, they will ensure her legacy continues.
In addition to her mother, father and stepfather she was predeceased by a sister, Marilyn Linehan; and her beloved grandson, Gage Pluid.
The family will hold a celebration of her remarkable life at a later late.
