Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Kelley will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, December 22, 2022 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Private entombment will be held at Liberty Memorial Gardens.

Edna McCollum Kelley, 99, formerly of Liberty, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Rainey Hospice House.

Born in Pickens, she was the widow of Marvin Earle Kelley and a daughter of the late James Wade and Melinda Ruth Gravley McCollum.

She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Liberty United Methodist Church.

Surviving is a son, Thomas E. (Muggs) Kelley and his wife Ella of Liberty; 2 grandchildren, Alison Budove (Anthony) of Greenville, and Jonathan Kelley of Liberty; two great grandchildren, Gracie and Brantley Kelley; also surviving are her beloved nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a brother, J.C. McCollum.

In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Liberty United Methodist Church, Building Fund, PO Box 55, Liberty SC 29657.

It was like you & I talked, we were hoping she would make it until her 100th birthday in February but it just wasn't the Lords will. I will miss going to see her and when I would go in I would say "hey sweetie it's me" and she would smile and say "I can't see you but I know your voice Jean" We were always close and I will miss her so much. We are praying for you. Love you!!!
