Funeral services to honor Debra’s life will be conducted 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 7, 2023 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday prior to the service from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the mortuary.

Debra Pilgrim Barrett, 64, of Liberty, South Carolina, died Thursday, February 2, 2023 at her residence. Born in Easley, she was the widow of Thomas Mearl “Tommy” Barrett and a daughter of the late Marvin Dice and Corrie Cope Pilgrim.

She spent most of her life taking care of the people closest to her.

Surviving is a daughter, Laura Wood of Pickens;  a step daughter, Darlene Fisher of Easley;  four grandchildren, Charlene Juarez, Alex Dear (Abigail), Dustin Dear, and Alyssa Dear (Anthony); two brothers, Jerry Pilgrim (Sandra), and Jimmy Pilgrim (Susan) all of Liberty; three great grandchildren, Diamond, Krizjian, and Carter; also surviving are four nieces, Kimberly Turner, Leann Edens, Nichole Finley, and Chanté Bolding (Dusty).
