Graveside services at Liberty Memorial Gardens to honor the life of Mrs. Smith will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM. No visitation is planned.
Christine Jones Smith, 97, of Chastain Road died Friday, December 22, 2023 at Prisma Health-Baptist Easley. Born in Tryon, NC, she was a the widow to Doyle Smith and a daughter of the late Joseph and Carrie Lee Ruppe Jones. She worked for Belks of Easley for many years before retirement and attended East Side Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Viola Tate of Taylors and June Galloway of Six Mile; two brothers, Raymond Jones and Chris Jones both of Liberty.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Harold Smith; three sisters, Estelle Smith, Irene Dodgens and Pauline Jones; and one brother, Boyce Jones.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice.
