Betty Louise Nesbitt Hammontree, 83, of 407 Allgood Bridge Road, died Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Prisma Health, Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Sumter County, SC, she was the widow of Lester Eugene Hammontree and a daughter of the late Robert R. Nesbitt and Alma L. Atkinson Nesbitt. She was a wonderful homemaker and caregiver for everyone. She loved cooking and spending time with her family. Her faith and relationship with the Lord God was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Haltiwanger and Tina McGaha(Hunter), both of Pickens; a son, Wayne Hammontree(Denise), of Pickens; two grandchildren, Katie Kelley of Pickens and Jonathan Hammontree of Pickens; and one great grandchild, Zoe Kelley.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

Private graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
