Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Noblitt will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow at Liberty Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Betty Lou Noblitt, 78, of Liberty, South Carolina, died Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Prisma Health-Baptist Easley Hospital.

Born in Piedmont, she was a daughter of the late John and Lillie Lollis Major.

Her hobbies included sewing, music, and cake decorating.

Surviving is her husband of 60 years, Lewis R. Noblitt of the home; two sons, Ronald Noblitt of Easley, and Waylon Noblitt of the home; 2 daughters, Ann Marie Cockrell (David) of Mt. Pleasant, and Donna Bishop (Chris) of the home; two granddaughters, Tori Cockrell and Erin Cockrell; three brothers, Harry, Wayne, and Ray Major; a sister, Vickie Allison.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Major.
