Anna was such a good friend to me and I worked with her for many years at LM. I find myself reaching for the phone to call her for her advise on matters and to provide her updates often and stop while looking at the phone. I miss her laughter and her cheery voice. I continue to pray for the family and friends of this wonderful person who touched many lives.

I will truly miss Anna! Her lively personality, always cheery greeting even when it pertained to On Call Audits, endless sense of humor, reliable guidance at work, and that giggle! Her laughter was uplifting and what a sweet spirit. She definitely left footprints in my sandbox over the years. I pray for comfort and healing for the family and friends during this time of loss.

Sorry to say, I never got to know Anna personally or even meet her in person. However, as a fellow LM Employee, she was always respectful, helpful and engaging. She gave her all, in her work. She will be missed at Lockheed Martin Aero. If her personal life was anything like her business life, her family and friends were lucky to have her.

Margie and family, My heart breaks for all of you. I’m so sorry for the loss of your sweet Anna. I have so many wonderful childhood memories with her. I loved coming to your house because it was always so much fun. I remember one time, you let us take a mattress from a fold-out cot and let us make our own indoor slide with that cot and your hardwood stairs! I thought that was the coolest thing ever! We laughed and giggled for hours. That was what I remember most about Anna when we were kids. Always giggling, smiling and always fun. Praying for you, Boogie, Dale, Clayton and the rest of Anna’s family and friends as all of you deal with this profound loss.

To the Burkett and Hoilman families, I am so very sorry! I knew of Anna in High School but it wasn’t until several years later we became good friends while working at the Sheriffs office! We took a beach trip together and had the best time until the clutch in my car went out and we had to take a taxi everywhere we went! We were determined to stay until time to come home! We hitched a ride home with some Clemson officer friends and made the best of it!! I’ll never forget how good of a friend she was to me! So much fun and laughter and that’s how I will remember her!! You are all in my deepest thoughts and prayers as you face the days with out her! I know for sure she is strolling over heaven!
Lynn Taylor left a message on July 11, 2022:
I’m deeply saddened by the passing of Ms Anna! What beautiful soul she is a woman full of life, kindness, quick witted, positive energy in abundance! I never got off the phone with Anna that I wasn’t smiling and the day was better for it. An unbelievable worker for Lockheed Martin and with out a doubt knee her stuff, what a hole she will leave! I pray for her mother, husband, son and all of us whose life this amazing woman touched! It’s going to be hard to imagine work with a call or an IM from her! Her Love for God comforts me knowing one day we will meet again! God Bless Ms Anna you will be truly missed!

Valerie B. Chatman left a message on July 11, 2022:
To the BURKETT and HOILMAN families, I am a colleague, and friend of Anna's. We worked together at Lockheed Martin in Greenville, SC. Although, she eventually left the Greenville site and worked remotely for Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX, we all kept up with each other, whether one-on-one or through another colleague. I am numb right now that such a nice woman who I admired for her knowledge and "did not take any mess" attitude is gone so soon. I loved those qualities about her because they reminded me of my demeanor in many ways. She will be missed by many families (immediate, work, and community). I will miss hearing about her and the accomplishments she made while at Lockheed Martin. Rest In Heaven our dear Anna! #ButGOD

Dearest Margie, Dale and Boogie, Words can’t covey the sorrow felt at this time. Anna has always been one of my favorites from 5th grade on. Her presence in a room shone like the warmest sun and the brightest star. I can’t tell you how many times she asked what she could do for me, for our family. I can only say when I see the sun rise and the brightest star in the sky, I will know Anna is there. May God help you through this journey and if there is anything we can do please let us know. Our prayers are for you. Kathyb ad family
