It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ann Cecilia Woodall Whitaker, a beloved homemaker and loving mother, who peacefully departed on May 27, 2024, at her home in Liberty, SC. Born on January 4, 1947, in Seneca, SC, she was a devoted wife to her late husband, Tommy Joe Whitaker (who passed away on May 31, 2024), and a daughter of the late John P. and Mary Kiko Woodall.

Ann will always be remembered for her unconditional love for her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She found joy in caring for them and watching them grow. Ann had a passion for True Crime shows and delving into the world of Stephen King novels, always eager to lose herself in a thrilling story.

Surviving are two sons, Scot Whitaker (Rhonda) of Liberty, and Johnny Ray Whitaker of Liberty; two grandchildren, Ryan Whitaker (Haley) of Liberty, and Sydney Lemar (David) of Liberty; a step grandson, Scotty Evett of Easley; 6 great grandchildren, Audrey, Peyton, Addie, Eastin, Alayna, and Elijah; also surviving are 5 brothers and sisters.

She will be laid to rest with her husband at Liberty Memorial Gardens.

While we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the life of Ann Whitaker and the love and memories she leaves behind.

Ann’s legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family will continue to inspire us all. Rest in peace, Ann Cecilia Woodall Whitaker.
