William Travis Shelton, 50, of Liberty, South Carolina, died Thursday, November 24, 2022 in Liberty.

Travis graduated from East Side High School. His hobbies included riding and working on motorcycles, and he also had a love for cooking. He loved people and never met a stranger.

Surviving are his mother, Elaine Cole of Liberty; his father, Merle Shelton (Sandy) of Winston Salem, NC; one uncle, Andy Mathis of Liberty.

Memorial services and private burial will be at a later date.

Today i found out about you Travis leaving this world where you lived 50 years of your life. On Thanksgiving day and i was shocked and heartbroken that i won't see your smile and we wouldn't ever be to talk and laugh about mopeds and all kinds of stuff. It's been awhile since we had seen each other but i remember like it was yesterday. You come pulling up on your moped and was wanting to buy the 2 i had for sale but i had already sold them to Alex. You was one of the good guys that i trusted being my true friend and you may be gone but never forgotten. Your in a better place now and i can see you with your Angel Wing's riding your Harley all over Heaven. Until we meet again. RIP MY FRIEND !!! To the family and friends i pray for God to give you all the strength and Love he can to help y'all get through this Sad and for the years to come. I'm so sorry for your loss
