William Floyd “Bill” Busby, 80, of Liberty, South Carolina, died Friday, October 8, 2021 at Prisma Health-Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Lavonia, GA he was a son of the late Frank Floyd and Dolly May Busby.

He retired from Piedmont Mechanical where he worked as a welding inspector for many years.

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Jeannie Tucker Busby of the home; 2 sons, Todd Busby of home, and Brandon Busby of Iva; a daughter, Debra Eades of Greenville; 14 grandchildren, Kristin Lamb, Damien Eades, Michelle Slatton, Jessica Busby, Justin Hammond, Kaitlyn Busby, Oasis Hammond, Jared Busby, Joelle Busby, Damion Potter, Chloe Potter, Mackenzie Busby, Patrick Busby, and Sienna Busby; also surviving are numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Heather Hammond and a son, Jimmy Busby.
