Thomas “Tom” Patterson

Thomas “Tom” Francis Patterson, age 62, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 16, 2023.
Born in Easley, Pickens County, he was the son of Tommy George and Dorothy Whitt Patterson. He was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church and had been since he gave his heart to the Lord in 1977. He was a representative of the Fellowship Tract League in Lebanon, Ohio, a tract printing ministry of Fellowship Baptist Church, that provides gospel tracts to people all over the world. He also was used by the Lord in the Grenada Bible Project that provided over 82,000 King James Bibles to the island of Grenada in the West Indies.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Dannette Eanes Patterson of the home, a daughter, Anna Wilson (Chris) of Lowndesville, and a son, Samuel, of the home. He also leaves behind two grandchildren, Libby (Toney) of Abbeville and Drew of Lowndesville, along with two great grandchildren, Kyle and Amelia, of Abbeville. He was also loved by his sisters-in-law, Belinda Starnes of Lyman, Barbara Oliver (Randy) of Duncan, brother-in-law, Ron Eanes (Gail) in Wellford, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends at Liberty Mortuary on Thursday, September 21, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 22 at Camp Creek Baptist Church (116 Camp Creek Rd., Central) with burial in the church cemetery.
