Sam Auld

Samuel Peden “Sam” Auld, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, left this world unexpectedly on November 7, 2023. Born on April 22, 1981, in Summerville, SC, he was a a son of the late Samuel Wilton Auld.
He worked as a fork lift driver at Michelin. Outside of work, Sam’s true passion lay in his love for sports, with the Georgia Bulldogs Football team occupying a special place in his heart. He also enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves. Sam had a zest for life and enjoyed spending quality time with his sister, Heather Montgomery, and their extended family and close friends. Their bond was unbreakable, and their cherished memories will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
Sam is survived by his parents, Gary and Diane Satterfield, and his sister, Heather Montgomery, who loved him unconditionally and supported him throughout his journey. His legacy lives on through his beautiful children, Brayden Auld and Haiven Auld, who were the light of his life. Sam’s love and devotion as a father will forever be remembered, and his children will carry his spirit with them. Also surviving is his grandmother, Betty Perry.
To honor Sam’s life a funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, November 10, 2023 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service 11:30 until 12:30 PM at the mortuary.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother, Jamie Satterfield.
