Celebration of life services for Roger’s will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the First Assembly of God, 810 Saco Lowell Road, Easley SC. No formal visitation is planned. Social distancing will be observed and masks are required.
Roger Jerome Swindle, 68, of Easley, South Carolina, went to his heavenly home, Thursday, December 24, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Memphis, TN he was a son of the late Willie and Thelma Brizendine Swindle.
Mr. Swindle was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of First Assembly of God in Easley.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Betty Swindle of the home; 2 sons, Casey Swindle (Brea) of Campobello, and David Swindle of the home; honorary son, Rudy Rowe of Campobellow; 3 daughters, Rebecca Swindle of Easley, Adriane Swindle of Greenville, and Julie Kerasidis (Angelo) of Liberty; a brother, Johnny Swindle; two sisters, Bridgett Andrews and Ginger Martin; 8 grandchildren, Katelyn O’Connor (Christoper Garvin), Mason O’Connor, Courtney Owen, Autumn Wells, Zachary Owen, Jimmy Wells, Gabriel Owen, and Xander Owen; also surviving is a great granddaughter, Maggie.

I have known this family since I was a small child and to this day I don't hear the song Old rugged cross in anyone's voice, but Roger's. My thought prayers and love go out to the family ?❤️ heavan's choir now has the best bass voice and a pretty good guitarist added to the band . Rest in heaven in the lord's healing arms .
