Memorial services to honor the life of Mr. Watson will be conducted 3:00PM Monday, September 12, 2022 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 until 2:30 PM at the mortuary.
Robert Patrick Watson, 68, of Liberty, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Rainey Hospice House. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Olin Ernest and Mary Patterson Watson.
He retired from Jennings Dill. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and loved to cut firewood.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Sharon Watson of the home; a son, Justin Watson (Jordan) of Six Mile; 2 daughters, Sarah Scruggs (Jason) of Pelzer, and Michaela Hendrix (Blake) of Liberty; a brother, Larry Joe Watson of Liberty; a sister, Beth Miller (Bob) of Easley; also surviving are 9 grandchildren, Makenna, Madelyn, and Jeremiah Watson, Lexi, Lane, Charlie, Blake, and Jolie Scruggs, and Tate Hendrix.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Watson.
