Richard Lloyd “Ricky” Holcombe Jr., 27, of Easley, South Carolina, died Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Easley, he was a son of Richard Sr. and Yvonne Holcombe.
He was a true outdoorsman, an avid hunter and loved dirt track racing.
Ricky enjoyed life and loved being with his family. Especially spending time with his son, who he even taught how to operate equipment at 6 years old.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Pendleton are his fiance, Heather Matthews of the home; a son, Tyler Holcombe of the home; a sister, Stephanie Lollis (T.J.) of Easley; a brother, Don Gilstrap of Easley; his grandparents, Mary Hall (Donnie) of Pickens, Deborah Harding of Seffner, FL, and Michael Bailey of Kentucky; great grandparents, Aleida Mehalko of Seminole, FL, and Sybil Holcombe of Easley; also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Shaun Gilstrap.
The family will be at the home of his parents, 101 Carrie Leigh Lane, Pendleton SC 29670.
